Doctoral research at the Graduate School of the Environment
The Graduate School of the Environment (GSE) offers two routes for doctoral study.
Our Professional Doctorate (Doctor of Ecological Building Practices) is run in collaboration with the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC). Supervision is by staff from both the GSE and UWIC. Prospective students apply to the GSE for entry to this programme. Details of the Professional Doctorate programme are shown here.
PhD students who wish to be supervised by a member of the GSE staff will usually be registered at the University of East London, although each application is treated individually.
