In the last ten years our courses have done more than any other to change the landscape of environmental discourse. Join us and join the debate.
A range of new courses on climate and environmental change allowing students to specialise in:
- Buildings and the built environment
- Environmental science and policy
- Sustainability strategy and planning
We are not currently taking applications for this course. CAT is reviewing our postgraduate provision in renewable energy in response to feedback and demand from potential students. In the meantime, you may wish to consider our MSc in Sustainability and Adaptation in the Built Environment which includes modules on energy and buildings.
This course is designed for architecture students who already have Part 1 exemption and who wish to study for the Part 2 examination whilst developing an appropriate philosophical approach to design through the specialism of environment and energy.
Masters levels modules are a great way to develop your knowledge and skills. There a range of post graduate qualifications available starting from £1000. Two weeks intensive study with the rest flexible to fit around existing commitments make them a practical and affordable route to sustainable education.
In addition to our postgraduate courses, the Centre for Alternative Technology offers a variety of short residential courses covering a range of sustainability issues. Courses on renewable energy, environmentally friendly building techniques, and water and sanitation solutions can help you learn more about sustainable ways of living, and allow you to put your ideas into practice.
