The Centre for Alternative Technology will join with over 1,300 exhibitors, 600 speakers and 50,000 expected visitors participating in this year's event between the 1st and 3rd of March. Ecobuild is a conference and exhibition covering the latest green building innovations. The event will include some major launches, including the StramitZED straw house. Designed by eco-architect Bill Dunster it is the latest in his eco housing portfolio – a straw board home that can be built for £135,000; £20,000 less than the normal cost of constructing a code level 6 house.
