Rachel´s pictureRachel

Rachel is a student on the Professional Diploma in Architecture programme. She realised the importance of sustainability in the built environment whilst studying for her BSc Architecture at the University of Bath. She believes that since the construction industry is responsible for such a large proportion of this country’s carbon emissions, the architects of the future need the knowledge to adapt to (and mitigate the effects of) climate change in the built environment.

Rachel originally came to CAT during a year out following graduation to volunteer as Natural Building Materials Research Assistant. She didn’t originally plan to stay, but then she discovered the existence of the Part II Architecture course at CAT!
